What are the benefits of electroforming?

Electroforming is an additive process, allowing for precise control over how thick or thin the part will be. Unlike standard machining, it provides a seamless finish, free of markings from seams or welds, and eliminates the need for screws for assembly - making the part more durable. Electroforming also allows for the application of an anti-corrosive coating, furthering the durability of the part.

COMSOL Multiphysics®

We utilize COMSOL Multiphysics®analysis software to predict the electroforming outcomes of each design. Every new design presents its own challenges, and this tool helps us to identify the optimal plating setup and address potential issues before the electroforming process even begins. The models are adapted to match our custom plating tanks and metals.

TrueLogic TrueChem

Our lab uses TrueChem to control, record and schedule the analysis of our plating and preparation tanks. TrueChem allows us to digitize our analytical procedures, quickly see trends in analytical results, and automatically send alerts if corrective actions are needed.
